FireBug plays live at 29 Yum — Yucca Valley’s favorite Vietnamese lounge —

Joshua Tree desert rock duo FireBug brings their signature hard rock/indie/blues sound to 29 Yum in Yucca Valley for an intimate evening of live music.

FireBug — the band praised by HITS Magazine, Time Out NY, and LA Weekly as a new millennium take on ’70s rock — is bringing their live show close to home. Juliette Tworsey and Jules Shapiro, the duo behind FireBug, perform Saturday, June 27th from 7–9 PM at 29 Yum, 57675 29 Palms Hwy, Suite 101, Yucca Valley, CA.

This is a rare chance to catch FireBug in an intimate setting — just the two of them, stripped back and up close, in one of the Hi-Desert’s most unique dining and lounge spaces.

FireBug’s sound weaves together indie, blues, and psychedelia, anchored by the sweet, intense vocals of Juliette Tworsey and brought to life through expertly crafted hard rock/blues songwriting with Irish and British influence. The band has shared the stage with Tom Morello, performed acoustic sets at Hotel Café alongside Jesca Hoop, and even played with ’60s folk icon Donovan. Their single “Run” was recorded at the legendary Rancho De La Luna studio in Joshua Tree, produced by Chris Goss of Queens of the Stone Age fame.
